Software Developer Degree Apprenticeship 2024 (Glasgow)

Your Role

As an Applications Consultant degree apprentice, you will be working towards a full-time job and studying for a Software Development Degree with our partner University. Working within Applications Management Services (AMS) across a huge spectrum of challenges, you will provide IT consultancy expertise that will transform how our clients conduct their day-to-day business. You will support live systems and applications and be expected to be able to assist Capgemini’s clients with answering queries, resolving issues and incidents in accordance with agreed SLAs and providing best practice where required. You may also be expected to work on requests for changes and enhancements always seeking to exceed client expectations.

Eligibility

  • SQA Higher: BBCC including Maths or Computing, plus Nat 5 English at C

or

  • Foundation Apprenticeship

and

  • An Interest in Technology

  • Good communication skills

  • Commitment to a 4 year development programme

  • Motivated and enthusiastic behaviour

  • A desire to learn and achieve

Note: You will have lived in the UK for the last five years with no more than 3 consecutive months out of the country (to meet security clearance requirements). You should be flexible in your approach to work and willing to travel to Capgemini and clients’ sites.
