My client is a leading software consultancy, specialising in empowering healthcare organisations to unlock the full potential of their operational and clinical teams. This client contributes to the enhancement of healthcare services across diverse clinical areas, including Operating Theatres, Outpatients, Cath Labs, Endoscopy, and more.
They are currently looking for a Software Team Lead with extensive Azure cloud experience to join their business and look after a team of 5 development and data staff as they continue to grow their digital agency. This position has become available due to the current Software Director leaving the business.
Responsibilities:
- Build and deliver Azure Data Engineering solutions.
- Demonstrate profound expertise in Microsoft Azure, leveraging this knowledge to steer the development of tailored solutions that precisely meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain data using Azure ETL processes.
- Provide expert guidance in technical decision-making, aligning solutions with business objectives and embracing best practices in software development.
- Inspire and lead a dynamic team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation to achieve collective success.
- Propel the adoption of modern software development practices, methodologies, and tools to elevate efficiency, enhance quality, and stimulate innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Create data tools to support analytics and data scientists in optimising products.
- Strategically plan and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring the timely and within-budget delivery of software projects.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing software development teams.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Cloud Infrastructure, Terraform, Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
