Due to our client's expansion plans, we are currently seeking 2 x Software Test Engineers to join their Software Engineering team. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing, integrating, and deploying software within our client s systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing new software features and applications within an Agile Software development framework.
- Generating comprehensive technical documentation summarizing completed work.
- Operating software-controlled hardware imaging, movement, and measurement components.
- Investigating and resolving bugs in established and evolving software applications.
- Collaborating on the breakdown of new software features into actionable work items and estimating associated time and complexity.
- Maintaining and enhancing unit testing coverage to ensure software platform stability.
- Coordinating with a multi-disciplined R&D team to ensure favourable product outcomes.
- Proactively refactoring existing code to mitigate technical debt.
Essential Experience:
- 2+ Years C#/.Net Development experience in a commercial setting (time spent on student projects or whilst studying will not be considered as eligible experience)
Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with testing Windows desktop software applications (WPF).
- Experience with SQL-backed applications.
- Exposure to system APIs, firmware, and/or automated control systems.
- Previous involvement in business-oriented Agile environments.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding and practice of working in, and testing solutions for, regulatory-compliant environments.
