Arlington Moore Recruitment is working on behalf of a highly successful company who are looking to appoint a Software Engineer as part of their team.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and wants to expand their horizons in an exciting and fast-moving industry.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development for embedded and desktop applications, working in their growing team of Software and Electronics Engineers. You will be a creative and analytical problem solver used to challenges in both design and development.
As the Software Engineer you will be tasked with delivering customer and business solutions through a combination of product development, enhancements and improvements. The Software Engineer will also provide support and technical assistance to all areas of the business regarding software-related issues.
Experience required for the Software Engineer role
- Experience in Software Engineering
- Degree qualified in an engineering, electronics, or a computer science-based subject
- Excellent Software Engineering skills, with a solid foundation in C and/or C++
- Experience with Python, Rust and Javascript is also desirable but not essential
- Hands on experience of lab-based diagnostic tools and equipment
- Experience of the following development environments
- Embedded : ARM-based controllers, PIC, AVR and Arduino
- Desktop : Windows and Linux
