Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineering or Computer Science graduate with strong

understanding & experience in Python programming language to work within a Data

Services team on an exciting new venture.

The role will be responsible to assist with the collection, storage, modelling & analysis of

large volumes of interconnected property type data sets.

The successful candidate will:

• Build & run Python scripts to collate, organise, standardise & match large sets of
• data. For certain elements, this will include web scraping.
• Assist in the development of databases & build SQL queries.
• Creating PowerBI dashboards and publishing to SharePoint
• Collaborate towards the development of a machine learning system using Python
• using normalized data and a neural network for classification to identify risk factors.
• Contribute towards the design & development of mapping tool.
• Contribute towards ongoing process development to maximise automations whilst
• ensuring data security, compliance & operational effectiveness.

Technical:

• Background in data analysis, whether in research or application.
• Educational background with a focus on numerical disciplines.
• Proficiency in at least Python, SQL programming language.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including Vlookups, Pivot Tables, and Formulas.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
