Have you ever looked at your smartphone and wondered how the silicon chips, that power it, were designed? Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software is some of the most advanced and algorithmically complex in existence.
My client is building the next generation of EDA tools, these tools enable IC designers to layout the very latest silicon chips. Successful candidates will be deeply involved in the development and implementation of a new EDA technology with a strong focus on computational geometry, geometry manipulation and algorithmic complexity.
We are looking for a Software Engineer with a top degree (preferably 1st Degree, MSc or PhD) and exceptional talent for algorithm development/C++ and Python.
The position would be ideal for an ambitious Grad/Master or PHD graduate that wants to get into Software Engineering looking for a new challenge with a Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science / Software Engineering qualification, who has a proven and innovative approach to research and software development or a personal passion in this area.
Strong A-levels and Degree are also required as this is the highest level of complex Maths/Science and advance logic to be able to add research and high logic thinking to the learning in the software team
Desirable skills: C/C++ or Python and a passion for Software programming/engineering.
