Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with global designer and manufacturer of subsea remotely operated power and control solutions, for the assignment of a Control Software Engineer. 

Control Software Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for developing, testing and implementation of new software to fulfil the functional specification. Alongside this you will be producing design documentation including functional design, software, and test documentations. 
• You will also be assisting in the design, development, and management of control systems software with involvement through the whole product life cycle from initial sales/requirements to after services support. 
• You may be required to support customers offshore and abroad as part of the system development. 

Control Software Engineer Key Requirements:

• Degree in relevant subject or with strong experience in software programming including scripting (if/case statements) with competency in any of the following areas to the cross over: PLC, SCADA, & application software design.
• Experience in machine control/automation and communication networks (ethernet, RS232, RS485) Full training on our products will be provided within the role.
• Understanding of hydraulic schematics
• Understanding of electrical schematics
• Understanding of electrical standards
• Rockwell PLC experience

Desirable but not essential:

• Intouch SCADA experience
• Jmobile (EXOR) experience
