Role Overview:
As a Development Manager, you will play a key role in leading our development team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of developers, driving best practices in software development, and collaborating with stakeholders to define and deliver on project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives, and translate them into actionable development plans.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and standards in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Oversee the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the development team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on our development processes and practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of the Microsoft development stack.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring a team of developers.
- Familiarity with Power Apps and the Power Platform, or a strong interest in learning and developing expertise in these technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a results-driven approach to achieving project objectives.
