Job Title: Software Engineering Specialist
Location: London Whitehall (5 days on site)
DV Clearance required
Due to the sensitive nature of this role you will be required to have SC Clearance, and be willing to go through DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum will be payable monthly once you hold DV Clearance.

The team maintain and develop bespoke capabilities working very closely with our customers. We work across a wide variety of platforms and technology stacks and we utilise a wide range of programming languages. The team is based across our main four sites as well as working on customer sites.
What you’ll do:
- Creatively apply a wide range of technical and/management principles.
- Perform highly complex work activities covering technical, financial and quality aspects.
- Influence a significant part of own organisation and influences customers/suppliers and industry at a senior management level (e.g. around resourcing of delivery teams and technical direction of work).
- Perform technical coaching and mentoring.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in coding, ideally with at least one of Python, C++, Objective–C, Java, C#, JavaScript or C. If you’re not proficient, we’ll help with a comprehensive suite of training and provide support from our inclusive teams to help you develop.
- Ability to take substantial personal responsibility, autonomy and ownership.
- DV (Develeped Vetting)
You may also have:
- Experience in a Leadership capacity.
