WHAT TO EXPECT
We are actively in pursuit of an accomplished Software Integration Manager, poised to play a pivotal role in advancing our Battery Management realm.
This individual will be instrumental in the successful delivery of our integrated in-house Battery Management software. From within your group, your team will plan and lead the technical integration of our in-house software.
You will set out what increments are needed to achieve our customer goals and you will work closely with Chapter Leads to identify and deploy the right skilled resource to the squads working in the group.
Your mission? You will be a catalyst for personal growth and innovation. This role is pivotal in leading and guiding multiple squads of exceptional engineers. We are looking for someone who embraces Agile values, deploys DevOps excellence and places a premium on maximising each team member's potential.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the integration and delivery of JLR’s Battery Management and charging software
- Oversee and deploy change control management
- Project planning and escalation using JLR Metrics including maintenance of a software quality scorecard
- Setting release priority through interactions with internal customers and product owners
- Lead escalation topics with your knowledge and expertise.
- Managing software suppliers and partners
- Support Chapter Leads with capacity planning and people development actions
- Alignment and collaboration with related engineering groups across JLR
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential –
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex software projects
- Proven team leadership and management skills
- Excellent knowledge of propulsion systems and embedded software
- Experience of Agile methodology and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to build strong, valuable relationships at all levels of the business
- Ability to work under demanding programmes and business restrictions
