Software Patent Associate

A Top 200 Amlaw Firm is seeking a mid level Patent Attorney with 3-5 years experience with a background in software/computer science!
As an associate in this busy patent prosecution practice, you will have the opportunity to prosecute patent applications in the United States and to direct foreign patent prosecution. You will act as an expert to clients on electrical, computer sciences nd software matters, so a strong foundation of knowledge in these areas is necessary.
Their IP attorneys, with diverse technical backgrounds, excel in various aspects of IP law, ensuring exceptional client service through a collaborative work environment that combines technical expertise with legal acumen.
Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience as a patent attorney
• Bachelors, or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar related field.
• Familiarity with API in software development, Machine learning and SaaS platforms.
• USPTO registered
• DC Bar admission
• A Highly motivated self stater, with excellent academics, oral and communication skills, and an interest in relationship building both internally and externally.
