Software Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our internally developed systems. Your work will involve comprehending user journeys, developing test plans, executing tests, and collaborating closely with various teams to maintain high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand user journeys and functional requirements.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for a range of systems.
• Execute tests across multiple platforms and devices to validate application functionality.
• Create and maintain regression test packs to safeguard existing functionalities.
• Support the test team in delivering QA responsibilities, fostering efficient testing processes.
• Work closely with developers to find solutions and contribute to project success.
• Report progress and issues to the Test Manager, ensuring clear communication.
• Demonstrate prompt issue resolution to uphold system reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest testing techniques and software for continuous improvement.
• Acquire new skills to enhance the capabilities of the QA team.

Who you will be:

• You will have a degree or equivalent in a relative field, with additional specialist knowledge acquired through postgraduate diploma level or equivalent relevant experience.
• Previous experience in a QA role, including test automation.
• You will have xperience in writing comprehensive test plans covering functional and non-functional scenarios.
• You will have experience with defect management systems and logging/retesting defects.
• You will have eperience writing SQL queries.
