Software Sales Representative

Since 1985, PSI has been developing enterprise level software for over 35 years in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and selling it all over the world. In fact, the vast majority of our clients are international (U.S., U.K, and Australia). We have 2 software products for our B2B clients: EventPro (SaaS), for event venue management and event planning, and PMXpert, for preventive maintenance. Don't worry if you don't know anything about events or preventive maintenance - we'll teach you what you need to know.
As a Software Sales Representative, you are an integral part of the client’s experience. You will assist clients from their first contact through the entirety of the business relationship. While maintaining strong client relationships, you are also in contact with all other departments, working together as a team. Most of your work is done independently from the home or office; however, there are occasional trade shows held throughout the United Kingdom that you are expected to attend.
Responsibilities:
Take warm, web-based leads through sales cycle, from initial assessment calls to closing
Provide software demonstrations to prospective clients via webinar
Negotiate contracts and close prospective clients within a long-term sales cycle, averaging 3 to 6 months
Ensure a smooth transition for new clients from purchase to implementation, and ongoing success using our software and services
Follow up with clients and prospective clients via phone and email
Continuously communicate with the internal team
Develop new leads through proven methods such as cold calling and attending industry trade shows
Key Requirements:
Highly organized with the ability to handle numerous incoming/outgoing calls and emails while managing upwards of multiple software demonstrations daily
Ability to establish rapport and relationships without face to face interaction
Strong time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high attention to detail
Proficient with computers
Able to travel for trade shows within North America
Nice to have (but not required):
5 years of sales and customer service success with proven track record
Public speaking and experience conducting web-based demonstrations
