Software System Professional

Techniche Global are supporting leading electronics manufacturer to appoint a number of Software / Systems Professionals in a variety of roles across various sites in the UK.
Salary: £35k-80k per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Portsmouth, Bristol, Amesbury, Malvern or Lincoln (hybrid -2/3 days per week mix)
Duration: perm role
The company work in the Defence sector includes land, sea and air software, systems and engineering. These current requirements are focused on the Air Division and will be covering whole system, software assurance on Fast Jets. The company's role for the UK government is to provide Software Assurance across all systems on Fast Jets which has been provided by multiple third-party software companies and engineering organisations. The role of the company is to rigorously check, test, validate and provide assurance that the completed systems on these jets are fit for purpose and ready to use.
This is a very unique role, in being able to have access to all systems across a Fast Jet (not just working on 1 system like the fuel for example). Seeing a real overview of the completed systems for one of these very complex & capable military jets. It will involve unprecedented access to the Jets themselves and exposure to some of the most advanced Software Systems being used in the sector.
Previous Defence or Aerospace sector knowledge is not required. The company are able to consider any Software Engineers who now want to take a role in Software Assurance. They are also open to candidates that have worked with either high level software engineering, or embedded software engineering.
The salary and package will be dependent on experience, with multiple requirements for this team across 5 sites they are open to junior, mid-level, senior and principal level engineers. The salary bands extend from £35-40k, £45-50k, £55-65k and up to £80k. The company have a comprehensive benefits package.
