Software Test Analyst

Are you interested in joining an Aerospace and Defence Company to support the test function spanning Oracle, .Net & Appian technologies, and the customer portfolio? Due to continued investment, this global business is currently seeking a Software Test Analyst to join their existing team, with flexible locations available between Bristol, Leicester, and Devonport (minimum 2 days onsite per week).

The Role

As a Software Test Analyst, you will be working closely with the Test Team Lead, Test Analysts, Development, and Business Analysts in the Digital Solutions space. This sector delivers a wide array of complex through-life marine engineering services.

Who we are looking for?

For an experienced Test Analyst minimum of 2 year's

The Software Test Analyst role requires the following skillsets.

• Previous experience in Software Testing roles * Good positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Good written skills
• Capable of working under pressure under tight deadlines

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Test Lead as part of the Digital Solutions delivery team, the Test Analyst is responsible for:

• Supporting the Test Team with test documentation including detailed test cases covering both Functional & Non-Functional requirements.
• Using specific Test tools such as Test Rail, AzureDevOps & Selenium for test execution
• The role is required to provide support of the testing the complex solutions including working with the Test Analysts, and the Test Lead closely with good communication skills.
• Collaborative working within the Project teams is essential.
• Responsible for your work and taking ownership.
• Working as part of a Team
• Working on your own at times & delivering high quality results

The experience you'll bring:

• Software Application Test Analyst with significant experience, including SQL and/or Oracle Database
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• ISTQB Test Analyst certification preferred.
• Some SQL / Oracle database understanding (preference)
• Flexible and willingness to travel (occasionally for the test role)
• Team player with ideas to be fully participating in the Test Team & future growth & progression.
