Job Description
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly any software bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Monitor debugging process results
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Review and analyse system specifications
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
The Successful Applicant
A successful Software Tester should have:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- ISTQB qualification is desirable
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual & automated)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
