About the company: My client is a well-established electrical contractor based in Hertfordshire, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality electrical solutions across large scale residential and commercial projects in London & the Southeast. With a commitment to sustainability and renewable energy, this business is excited to announce the launch of its new Solar PV division and is seeking an experienced and driven individual to lead this division and drive its success.
Role Overview: As the Solar PV Division Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and leading our new solar PV division. Drawing upon your experience in the solar energy sector, you will develop and implement strategies to drive sales, expand the client base, and maximize revenue opportunities. Your role will involve managing all aspects of the division, including sales, project management, and customer relations. You will collaborate closely with the existing team to ensure seamless integration and alignment with our core business values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the solar PV sector, including commercial and residential projects.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
* Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial consultation and design to installation and commissioning.
* Provide expert guidance and support to clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their energy needs.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery and exceptional customer service.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in sales, preferably within the solar PV sector.
* Sound knowledge of solar PV products, technologies, and market trends.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
* Strategic mindset with a track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
* Technical proficiency in solar PV systems and associated software tools.
