The Role - Solar PV Administrator:
This is a home-based role although the successful candidate could work from one of the group offices throughout the UK if they prefer and would suit a well organised team player who is keen to learn and develop in a fast-growing Renewable Energy Company. This is varied role working with a very supportive team promoting the highest quality Solar PV Systems to a wide range of clients.
The Company is experiencing considerable growth and has the additional benefit of being a division of a c£1bn family-owned business.
There is considerable potential for future progression for the right individual.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar capacity within the Solar, or other construction related project delivery role, however this isn’t as important as a desire to work in this sector, as full training can be provided.
First point of call for all enquiries ensuring full information is passed on to the correct person to follow up.
Complete all tasks assigned by Operations Support in an efficient and timely manner.
Communicate effectively with sub-contractors, suppliers, customers and other internal company departments alike.
Ensure all information is correctly stored in line with Company Policies, utilising existing OneDrive and Hubspot CRM systems.
Assist with Marketing for the business; potentially including design and send of newsletters, organising exhibition materials and attending exhibitions on occasions.
Assist with basic finance tasks including order processing and receipting.
Skills, Knowledge & experience
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook).
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills (industry specific so training is offered)
- Experience in completing DNO applications
- Experience of Solar Design Software
- Experience of dealing with Planning Applications.
