Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Sourcing Manager to join our Procurement department at our Rugby site. 

As Sourcing Manager you will be aligned to the CAPEX and Facilities Management categories, this Sourcing Manager role will be responsible for the identification and implementation of value add opportunities, to optimise Culina Group’s financial performance, business resilience and quality of goods and services received from suppliers. Joining a new and evolving Procurement function, the role holder will be a flexible, proactive and resilient individual, who is capable of working in a fast paced environment, with competing demands on their time.

As the successful candidate, you will contribute to the overall success of the organisation, and will report directly to the Head of Procurement.

This is a full time, permanent position Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking market leader.

Job responsibilities of Sourcing Manager include:

• Proven ability to identify and implement value add commercial solutions within the CAPEX / Facilities Management categories, in a fast paced multi-site organisation
• Proven ability to effectively and proactively manage multiple and potentially conflicting stakeholders
• Keen commercial and financial understanding, driving creative and market leading value solutions
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to drive an optimised outcome
• Proven ability to lead the creation of market leading strategic category plans
• Confident and timely contract drafting and execution, drawing on Legal support when appropriate
• Proactive pipeline creation and management
• Confident and effective communicator, successfully influencing decisions at all levels
• Confident in challenging not only the supply chain model, but also the demand for and specification of the goods / service
• A general commercial mind-set, always seeking to identify opportunities to add value

To apply for the role of Sourcing Manager, you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:

• Proven ability to effectively manage supplier relationships. 
• Proven ability to effectively and proactively manage multiple and potentially conflicting stakeholders
• Able to source new potential suppliers to save on cost, improve quality etc. 
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding, sufficient to effectively audit a supplier, to identify value, legal and business resilience gaps in delivery vs contract
• Confident in effectively challenging stakeholders and buying decisions
• Confident and effective communicator, successfully influencing decisions at all levels
• A general commercial mindset, always seeking to identify opportunities to add value
• Proven ability to rapidly build strong relationships sufficient to support role
• Experience of using Microsoft suite to produce and present reports
