Sous Chef

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

Location: Columbus, OH

Our client is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join its culinary team and bring creative, high-quality dishes to life.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Asian cuisine and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure team in kitchens are trained to prepare dishes in timely fashion and with consistent level of excellence
• Achieve consistent product excellence, which includes training new cooks, retraining current staff and hiring the best cooks to handle the business volume and deliver quality food
• Supervise the line and operations hands-on; jumping in to lend a hand during busy times
• Interpret labor reports and keep all costs, including food, in line with budget

Key Requirements:

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with Asian cuisine preferred
• Proven leadership experience in a professional kitchen
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team building, staff development, and fostering a positive work culture
