Sous Chef - Burton on Trent
Up to £29,858 Per Annum
Typically Monday-Friday days with the flexibility to work evening/weekends where required.

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Sous Chef for our dedicated catering team at Holland & Barrett in Burton on Trent, producing outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients in this prestigious contract. You would manage the kitchen with the chef manager and 6 others in the team.

Service includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner between 8:30am and 7pm - 7 days a week
- The Sous Chef will plan, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of food ensuring that the company's reputation for quality is enhanced with customers and clients at all times
- Taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach
- Driving sales through centrally driven menu planning and promotions and preferred suppliers
- Responsible for all aspects of food safety, HS and COSHH
- The Sous Chef will also be required to implement and maintain food monitoring procedures to facilitate budgetary control and to monitor all costs involved in the kitchen against agreed budgets.
About You:
- Experience working in a fast-paced and busy environment is essential.
- Previous culinary experience as Sous Chef or similar role.
- Understanding of Eurest's brand standards is desired.
- Previous experience with day to day client engagement.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Compass IT systems.
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Motivated and passionate about delivering consistently high standards of food and customer service.
