Sous Chef – Events

Overview

Temp All Staffing are currently recruiting for a Chef on behalf of our client based near Manningtree. You will be working in a country pub and event catering business and will have the opportunity to develop your skills in all sides of the kitchen. This role will involve working alongside the Head Chef to deliver outstanding service.

Job Role

• Assist with the preparation of food and the serving of all meals to customers
• Making food from scratch from canapes to desserts and curing and smoking meats and fish in house.
• Working in prestigious venues from large weddings and parties to corporate events.
• Working as a team to ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
• Ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed

Your Skills and Experience

• Experience working as a Chef
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ability to follow instructions
• Basic Food Hygiene and Basic Health and Safety certificates are advantageous but not essential
• Must hold a Driving License and have access to own vehicle
