Spa Therapist

Essential: - NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent. - Ability to put clients at ease and create a relaxing environment. - Excellent communication skills, to explain treatments to clients. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Sympathetic and caring attitude. - The ability to work as part of a team. - A neat and tidy appearance.
Requirements: - Provide treatments. - Constantly maintain high levels of room; hygienic, safe and well-maintained condition. - Prior therapist experience in a quality operation 4/5* star hotels. - Warm and friendly with a genuine holistic approach to clients. - Excellent standards of personal presentation & hygiene. - Strong communication skills. - Excellent standard of written and spoken English. - Conscientious, supportive team-worker. - Assist the spa manager with the standards and cleanliness of the treatment rooms. - Upselling our products & services (with potential bonus pay to be earned). - Complete Spa Therapist rotas (up to a month notice). - Work closely with the spa manager to drive retail sales (Elemis, Temple Spa Etc).
Desirable: - Additional therapy qualifications i.e Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, and Waxing. - Deep Tissue or Sports Massage Qualification is desirable. - Level 2 or 3 Qualified / Certificate in Nails (Manicure, Pedicure, Gels, Polish and Acrylics). - Experience of foot massage and reflexology. - Pregnancy massage experience / qualified. - Experience of upselling with spa retail.
