Job description

A University Site in Oxford are looking for a Space Planning Project Manager to work in the Estates Team to assist with all the space planning, moves management, staff locations, office moves, new builds and renovation.

Your role is to provide and create drawings using AutoCAD so you need advanced skills and also to manage the ARCHIBUS CAFM / IWMS space, lease and asset management software.

Main Duties:-

  • Assist with space planning activities and moves management where required.
  • Ensure changes to AutoCAD layouts, staff locations & assets are actioned and updated to the space

management system promptly and published.

  • Work with other stakeholders to maintain data accuracy.
  • Maintain Estates Management Record (EMR) and prepare data submissions
  • To manage the ARCHIBUS space, lease and asset management software.
  • Provide and create drawings, data, reports and other information to support facilities management,

maintenance, construction, strategic planning and legal activities.

  • Ensure space planning projects are completed on time and to budget
  • Ensure changes to layouts and staff locations & assets are actioned promptly
  • Work with other stakeholders to maintain data accuracy.
  • Assist with space planning activities where required
  • Maintain Estates Management Record (EMR) and prepare data submissions.

Manage and maintain the University Estates Information Database and AutoCAD (Drawings) for the whole estate, including;

  • Architectural Drawings, defining University standards and protocols for the layout and presentation of plans.
  • ARCHIBUS drawing boundaries, space allocations, staff locations and assets.
  • Fire Evacuation, Fire precautions and Health and Safety information.
  • Assist with BIM Information, where required.

This is an exciting full time permanent position joining a small established team in a large establishment.

Salary offered is £35 - £38k, hours between 8-9am - 4-5pm, 38 days holiday inc bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, cycle to work scheme and access to a variety of university facilities (Nursery, Gym and sports facilities) Limited parking but excellent public transport & park and ride.
