Role of a Spanish Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters independent thinking, creativity, and active participation.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and achievement.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Spanish curriculum and share best practices.
A successful Spanish Teacher will be:
- Enthusiastic about the Spanish curriculum and have strong subject knowledge.
- Take pride in the quality of your teaching and learning in your classroom.
- Keeping up to date with curricular developments.
- Have clear verbal and written communication.
Education and Training needed for the role of Spanish Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (with DfE Number).
- Experience teaching secondary-aged children.
- Knowledge of Curriculum and SEN Code of Practice.
- Willingness to develop own expertise.
