TeacherActive are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistantin Sheffield to have the opportunity to work in our SEND Primary and Secondary schools. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be passionate about helping children who have complex needs, you will be able to tailor your teaching to a variety of unique children and you will have a patient and calm nature. We have built strong relationships with our schools and support staff so we can find the best placements that suit you and your schedule.

The ideal SEN TA / SEN Teaching Assistant should have the following:

• Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or experienced with children who have Special Educational Needs
• A calm, patient, and caring persona
• Good behaviour management
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with and supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
