Job description

SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to advertise an exceptional opportunity on behalf of a client school in Hackney. We are seeking a skilled and experienced SENDCO to join a warm and inviting 1-form entry primary school for the upcoming academic year.

About the Role

This part-time position requires a SENDCO who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. As a key member of the school's staff, you will be responsible for:

Leading and managing the provision for SEN students, ensuring tailored support is provided.

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement effective strategies.

Monitoring and evaluating the progress of SEN students, adjusting approaches as necessary.

Providing training and support to staff on best practices for SEN and inclusion.

Upholding the school's inclusive ethos and contributing to its overall development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the National Award for SEN Coordination.

Extensive experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership and organisational abilities.

The ability to start immediately and adapt quickly to the school's environment.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
