About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team in Wakefield. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an excellent educational experience for children with Special Educational Needs.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of each individual student.
• Assess and record the progress of students’ learning to inform next steps.
• Collaborate with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, and educational psychologists.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about their child’s progress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching students with Special Educational Needs.
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
