We are looking for a general subjects teacher to join our team at a school in St Leonards. You will be teaching students who have social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as other complex needs. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality and engaging lessons that cover various subjects, such as English, Maths, Science, and Humanities. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30, under a temporary to permanent contract. You will be paid to scale, £130-£230 per day, depending on your experience and qualifications. The start date is immediate, subject to DBS and our compliance checks.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant experience, such as working at an alternative provision, special school, or care / support work for young people
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop your skills
