What you`ll be doing
In this role you`ll work with the Group Head of Special projects to mobilise, design, and deliver strategically important and exciting `Special Projects` for the Brit Group, acting as a role model for exemplary change leadership.
You`ll ensure the objectives and scope of the Special Projects are clear, understood and agreed with the Executive team, creating progress update packs for the Executive team and Board.
You`ll be facilitating workshops, problem solving to seek cross business agreement on the solution to be delivered. as well as developing Target Operating Model and RACIs or any other business assets that add value to the project. Also, you`ll be part of organisational change, new business line set-up, regulatory remediation, digital & data transformation and optimising the performance of existing business areas.
You`ll be working on projects that may sit inside or outside of our Strategic Change Board and could include entity set-up, mergers, sales of business units / books of business.
As well as the above you`ll be creating Strategic Change Board and/or business value case submissions for Business Sponsors, mobilising project teams by setting key milestones required to reach the end objective.
Acting as an accelerator for delivery, creating clear and coherent plans which have demonstrable quick wins.
Day to day
This is a great opportunity for someone who is commercially minded, is fulfilled by making a difference by leading and managing cross functional project teams to deliver the Special Projects.
You`ll utilise your skills and experience to deliver interesting and strategically important projects within the Lloyd`s of London insurance market or the wider financial services sector.
No two days will be the same in this role, you will be anticipating blockers from knowledge obtained, using logic to foresee obstacles and actively remove them.
Within the Special Projects team you`ll be mobilising project teams active problem solving - recognise where there are issues / confusion / misunderstanding / barriers and reframe the problem and actively pursue a proposed solution.
Having and drawing on your experience of working with Executive teams and business unit leaders you`ll successfully set-up and deliver strategically important projects.
