Position: Full-Time SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH) in KS1.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans to support the academic and social progress of vulnerable children.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to ensure the holistic well-being of the children.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with vulnerable children, preferably within a primary school setting.
- Experience working on a one-to-one basis with children in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
- A passion for supporting children's social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to the diverse needs of the children.
