Specialist Occupational Therapist
Location: Alton, Hampshire
Salary: £31,600 - £46,650 pro rata + Excellent Benefits

The Client:
Our client is a well-established school and college, catering to physically challenged youth, offering extensive therapy services.
The Role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will contribute to a dynamic therapy team, providing assessments and interventions for students aged 3 to early 20s.
Duties:
* Manage a caseload of students with complex needs.
* Deliver occupational therapy interventions across various domains.
* Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff and students.
* Facilitate students engagement in functional activities.
* Advise colleagues, parents, and carers on complex cases.
* Deliver clinical training sessions and contribute to service development projects.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Previously worked as an Occupational Therapist or in a similar role.
* Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs.
* Experience in paediatrics, neurology, or physical disabilities.
* Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HPC)
* Valid driving license.
Desirable:
* Skilled in wheelchair and seating assessments
* Experienced in supervising occupational therapy students.
* Previous experience in an educational setting
* Capable of delivering training sessions
