Job description

What you will enjoy doing Delivering all aspects of patient care and education to the highest standards. Ensuring that patient care is assessed, planned, implemented and evaluated in accordance with required organisational and professional standards. Ensuring working within relevant governance systems and processes and that they are robust and adhered to. Supporting the workforce is fit to practice by offering additional support to those in primary care if required and also student nurses, medical students and trainee physician associates.
Assessing, diagnosing and making recommendations for treatment or prescribing effectively to improve patient outcomes Working in partnership with patients to develop effective care plans What makes you great A degree/diploma in Nursing with an active up to date NMC registration Have a minimum of 3 years experience managing respiratory conditions - preferably with diagnosis, medication initiation and optimisation of therapies. Hold both (or be working towards) COPD and Asthma diplomas or equivalent Experience in spirometry essential additional support can be given regards interpretation to the successful candidate if necessary. ARTP qualification desirable or willingness to undertake this is essential Hold the ENB 998 teaching and assessing course or equivalent is desirable Hold a Full clean UK driving licence Clinical knowledge of guidelines and evidence based practice Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A team player Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) desirable or a willingness to undertake this is essential Evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development You will have a high level of personal integrity and that will help drive your decision making and the way you approach your role. Highly motivated and capable of self-managing and working autonomously.
