We're looking for a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our Therapy team at The Portland Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC and home to the largest private hospital-based rehabilitation centre in the UK.
Internationally renowned for clinical excellence, The Portland Hospital is the only independent hospital in the UK entirely dedicated to women and children. Our inpatient and outpatient specialties reflect this, providing clinical expertise in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Women`s Health.
Our Paediatric wards hold 56 inpatient beds + 11 day case and are equipped with the latest technology to provide advanced medical and surgical care, including a Paediatric Neurorehabilitation Unit and a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit which reflects the acuity and complex nature of the children who are admitted to our hospital
As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist in the outpatient department at you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialist therapy services to infants, children and young persons with communication and swallowing difficulties. You will complete assessment, diagnosis, and intervention with children with a wide range of congenital, acquired, and developmental presentations.

What you'll bring:
- Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and Registered member of HCPC.
- Registered member of HCPC
- At least 5 years experience working in paediatrics
- Competent in Paediatric dysphagia
- Experience of assessing and establishing AAC
