The Role
ROC Transitions are a supported accommodation provider, regulated by Ofsted, who work with young people aged between 16 and 18. Our young people live in homes in the community, with our team providing up to 17 hours of support per day, including overnight sleeps. Our focus is working with young people to get them into education, employment or training, helping them to develop independent living skills and to work therapeutically with them to overcome the challenges they face,
Dependent on experience & qualifications, £26,200 - £30,920 projected including sleeps per annum (£22,000 - £24,920 basic plus £50 per sleep)

Full time, 40 hours. 3 week rolling rota.

The Transitions team is a small team and due to the growth of the service, require the addition of a Specialist Support Worker to assist them. We value honesty, commitment, flexibility, integrity and a great sense of humour!

- Due to the location of the homes and the need to transport young people driving license or access to own transport is essential for these areas/homes.
- Working individually and within a team
- Experience of working with children. (preferrable)
- Level 3 award in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
- Openness and commitment to personal development identified training and professional development.
- An interest and ability in adventure activities
- Sleeping in duties
- Willing to work additional hours to cover sickness and holidays and to work in other homes within your area.
- Willing to work Bank Holidays & Christmas Holidays
- The transitions team have a diverse experience and backgrounds, e.g. childcare, drug and alcohol services, police, mental health, residential services, sports coaches, fire fighter, learning disability, physical disability. We would welcome anyone who is able to bring something additional to the table and arent looking just for people with supported accomodation backgrounds.
