Are you an experienced Sales Manager/BDM or Specification Manager with a passion for building and nurturing long term relationships?
Ideally you would have experience in building significant relationships/partnerships with Architects, Specifiers or Designers and other key stakeholders within the building management chain.
Previous exposure or a genuine interest in Smart Building/Home Automation, Audio Visual, Access control systems or Lighting would be highly desirable. As would electrical technical product experience.

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: Remote - Prospective clients predominantly inside the M25
Salary: 55-75k + company car/allowance + bonus
Key Responsibilities for Specification Sales Manager:
- Conducting comprehensive industry research to identify potential customers and key players, initiate contact, and nurture relationships.
- Visiting existing and prospective clients, offering detailed product awareness and tailored training
- Build a strong technical knowledge of company products and solutions as well as an understanding of the key competitors product portfolio.
- Acting as a dedicated partnership manager for key architects, specifiers, and designers.
- Using an entrepreneurial approach to win at every opportunity, building a "specification-first" culture.
- Creating demand for all company products, driving the promotion of all partnership offerings and working closely with clients to identify and solve design, functionality, and cost-related challenges
- Ensuring company products align with the specific needs and goals of each project.
- Participating in local trade groups/networking events for influencers.
Desirable Experience Specification Sales Manager:
- Proven expertise in sales, particularly in Specification Sales within the construction industry or related sectors.
- Exposure or a genuine interest in Smart Building/Home Automation, Audio Visual, Access control systems or Lighting would be highly desirable.
- Experience in working closely with Architects, Specifiers or Designers and other key stakeholders within the building management chain.
- Experience in selling Electrical or Mechanical products or understanding or installing a large technical product range.
- Willingness to travel extensively, mainly across the South of England to engage with clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks to maximize opportunities.
- Knowledge of electrical accessories or interior design
