Regional Sales Manager

A fantastic opportunity to join a British manufacturer of precision engineered components sold into the packaging & process machinery / food manufacturing industry. You will be a proven field salesperson who has sold components to end users ideally in the food industry. This roles offers a great package and very good prospects to become UK Sales Manager.
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000 Base
 
BENEFITS:
· Circa £10,000 monthly & quarterly commission
· Car Allowance of £6,000 per annum
 
LOCATION: Covering the Southern UK, home based and living South of Birmingham
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Birmingham, Bristol, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Northampton, Slough
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:Sales Manager - Packaging and Process Machinery, Food Manufacturing
 
A classic territory management role covering the Southern UK selling a range of precision engineering components to end users in the food manufacturing market 50% selling to existing accounts and 50% developing new business with very realistic targets in the first 3 years to help the company achieve its ambitious growth targets.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:Sales Manager - Packaging and Process Machinery, Food Manufacturing
 
· You must have a proven track record in sales of engineering components to end users.
· Any specific experience of selling packaging or process machinery components &/or of selling into the food manufacturing market would be advantageous but are not essential.
· A technical or engineering background would also be advantageous.
 
THE COMPANY:
A well established British manufacturer of precision engineered components used in packaging and process machinery sold mostly into the food manufacturing industry. The majority of their business is sold to export markets in 50+ countries and via distributors to 800+ clients.
They have an ambitious and fully funded 3 year growth plan.
 
PROSPECTS: This role offers excellent prospects; Success could lead to a UK Sales Manager role in 2 to 3 years and to a Sales Director role in the medium term.
