About the Specification Sales Manager role:
- Covering South West, you will be working extensively with Sub-contractors, Main Contractors (and occasionally Architects), providing specialist SFS and Drylining
- Developing a significant presence in the market, building and maintaining relationships and maximising the potential of leads and opportunities
- Providing technical support, building and maintaining knowledge of the industry and your competitors
- Having an input in the development, creation, management, storage and control of critical project design data
- Responsible for pricing policy, driving added value for the business line
- Managing contract negotiations from initial enquiry through quotation and order
- Supporting marketing of technical data through website content, brochures, seminars, trade shows etc
About you:
- Proven experience in drylining and/or SFS
- Good technical understanding of SFS and drylining systems
- Relevant experience of specification management
- Proven analytical skills and able to solve technical problems
- Able to demonstrate previous achievement of revenue growth managing a £multimillion region
- Able to create and develop technical specifications and documentation, as well as read, understand and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Proven ability to work under pressure with to tight deadlines, working largely unsupervised
