Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Specification Technologist to join their business.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a Food professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company that supplies premium products to a number of retailers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage Finished Product Specifications (Retail, Brand, and Foodservice):
* Ensure all specifications are accurate and activated by store launch day.
* Submit specifications in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
* Update specifications promptly for delisted or off-range products.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain accuracy.
* Maintain Specifications & Artwork tracker and relevant documents.
* Complete specification reviews within required timelines.
Artworks:
* Verify artworks for compliance with pack copy and regulations.
* Ensure artwork meets customer requirements and maintains consistency.
* Lead artwork approval process and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Other Responsibilities:
* Assist in Stage & Gate process and administrative tasks.
* Utilise and maintain NPD RACI tracker as needed.
* Support HFSS data submission on Product DNA.
* Fulfil external customer requirements, such as packaging information requests.
