Location: Pontefract, WF8 3DD

Shift Available: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm (1 hour break)

Our facilities combine traditional British butchery technique with some of the best technological prowess in the food sector.

A committed team of over 700 staff oversee the whole process from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience.

About you:

• Attention to detail with a diligent approach to work activities
• Good communication with staff across site and external visitors.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining quality and speed.

Role:

• Complete retail and non-retail customer specs as and when required
• Ensure HACCP procedures are adhered to.
• Complete RAG / QAS sheets for new products
• Maintain specifications through regular audit and updates
• Ensure NPD handovers are attended and information is actively sought and any challenges highlighted and communicated.
• Check and sign off customer artwork
• Be the key liaison with Customer Technical Managers on specification completion including leading the follow ups on specification queries.
• Lead the process of achieving Customer Gold standard specifications
• Develop working relationships with Customer compliance teams to enable swift resolutions of queries.
• Maintain Customer specification system to ensure all products are set at their current active status.
• Complete internal audits as part of the internal auditing team
