We are looking for a German Speaking Specifications Technologist to join our team. This is a remote position with occasional travel to our office in EC4A 1JQ. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all product specifications comply with regulatory requirements and meet customer expectations. The Specifications Technologist will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to gather and review product information, conduct quality checks, and maintain accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and update product specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Communicate with suppliers to gather necessary information for specifications
Conduct quality checks on products to verify accuracy of specifications
Collaborate with internal teams to address any discrepancies or issues
Maintain detailed documentation of product specifications and updates
Stay current on industry regulations and make recommendations for improvements
Support the product development process by providing technical expertise and guidance
Requirements:
Fluent in German and English
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industry
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
Salary: 40,000 – 45,000 per annum
Location: Remote, occasional travel to EC4A 1JQ
