Do you have experience communicating with pupils with PECs, Makaton, Positive Handling, RWI Phonics, Team Teach, OT, SALT and Sensory In?
 
I am currently working with an ‘Outstanding’ Primary School based in Highams Park, looking for Speech and Language Assistant who are looking for BPS accredited experience. As a Speech and Language Assistant who is keen on helping the youth get through the conflict that comes with having a background in SaL Needs and Communication Struggles, this role is the perfect way to enhance your skillset and challenge yourself.
 
Speech and Language Assistant

• Linguistics Graduate from Top 20 UK University
• Years of education-based experience working as an LSA/SaL/SEN Assistant
• Work Term-time only and get paid on PAYE basis weekly
• £450+ Paid As You Earn
• Work with Pupils with ASD, ADHD, EBD, SEMH, PMLD, SLD and complex needs
• Further enhance your skillset by taking on a challenging yet rewarding role

This Speech and Language Assistant (Makaton/PECS) role will include extensive in house and external training, designed to further develop your SEN profile, and there will be support and supervision from the Speech and Language Therapy Department. The pupils in question are in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and make steady academic progress, but the schools new Speech and Language Assistant (Makaton/PECS) will be charged with engaging these students 1:1, helping them break down learning and manage their S+L difficulties to help them progress at a faster rate, along with developing their social skills.
