Speech And Language Therapist

As an autonomous practitioner to work as a member of the team based at Royal Bolton Hospital providing a specialist service to adults with acquired neurological Speech and Language difficulties, dysphagia (swallowing problems) on the hospital site. To assess, differentially diagnose and treat a specified caseload of adults with Speech and Language disorders and also swallowing problems, who will be from a variety of ethnic and social backgrounds. To work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialist advice at case conferences and scheduled meetings ensuring well co-ordinated care. To liaise with, and train other health, education and social service professionals; and to work in partnership with parents/carers and external agencies to ensure the delivery of a high quality service
