Form of workPiers Meadows Recruitment are looking for a band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to work in Brighton and Worthing or remotely.
- To provide a high standard of SPEECH AND LANGUAGE therapy to a diverse caseload of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) outpatients presenting with voice disorders, head and neck cancer and/or swallowing difficulties in Sandwell and Birmingham
- To contribute to the education and development of less experienced SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPISTs, assistants and student SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPISTs within the area of clinical specialism.
- To work as an autonomous practitioner providing specialist SPEECH AND LANGUAGE therapy assessment and intervention to patients presenting with diverse and complex voice, head and neck, and/or swallowing difficulties, who may have co-existing complex physical and psychological conditions.
- Provide clinical advice, in the area of developing specialism, for other SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPISTs and professionals from other disciplines.
- To collaborate closely with ENT colleagues to facilitate decision-making, development and delivery of specialised individual treatment programmes.
