If you are a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible Band 7 or very experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist with an interest in working in Neuro, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the department.

The post holder will provide a Speech and Language therapy service to adults with stroke experience and preferably general medicine experience also. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team which includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Specialist Nursing and Rehabilitation Assistants to manage those with neurological and non-neurological conditions.

This role is for ASAP start and it is full-time and long term.

Salary: 28/h (Day shifts)

What you'll need as a Speech Language Therapist:

• Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
• Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
• HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
• 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
• Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
• The right to work in the UK
