The Baird Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to work across the Academy supporting pupils with the development of their speech, language and communication skills.
Our successful candidate will have:
- The ability to create good working relationships to support pupils and promote positive values, attitudes and behaviour
- Knowledge and understanding on the effective use of resources to engage pupils and achieve positive outcomes
- A good standard of education particularly in English and Mathematics
- Experience of working with children with speech, language and communication needs
- A passion for continued professional development and a drive to undertake training
