Speech and Language Therapist - Neuro required to assist within the newly established Early Supported Discharge Service, neurological experience is essential, specifically to be able to work with patients who have had a stroke in assisting with early supported discharge from the acute hospital, back to patients own home or into our community hospital setting. Car driver and car access essential in being able to fulfil this role. Hours are 37.5 across 5 days (Mon - Fri)

Must be driver and have access to a car for community visits.

Salary: £35/h

What you'll need as a Speech Language Therapist - Neuro:

• Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
• Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
• HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
• 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
• Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
• The right to work in the UK
