Sponsorship Sales Account Manager - Existing International Client Base
London Office, Hybrid Working (2 days onsite)
Base Salary up to £50K + Realistic 1st year OTE £70K (Uncapped Commission)
Join an established, highly innovative and agile marketing services and events business that works with companies around the globe. They create targeted marketing campaigns for businesses that include products such as b2b conferences and events, training, intelligence, and media products. Their London Head office is recruiting a new Account Manager to join the sales team and manage and grow an existing client base.
The Account Manager Role
Responsible for delivering substantial sales revenues, selling integrated and multi-channel sponsorship packages to existing clients across EMEA, North America and APAC regions.
Sell to existing clients, map, develop and manage accounts by region, segments and/or product lines.
You will be consultatively selling solutions that include opportunities to sponsor digital events, in-person events and a broad range of digital marketing products.
Responsibilities:
- Write your sales plan with a focus on developing existing clients in the NAM, EMEA and APAC regions, with a flexible approach.
- Generate sales through the development and management of your client relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of your clients and keep up to date with their business and needs to ensure you can continuously provide them with the best solutions.
- Keep up to date with wider industry news and trends.
- Provide a consultative and solutions led service.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all clients at all times.
- Have regular meetings to monitor the progress of each of your client campaigns and advice and support where necessary.
- Write excellent proposals, making use of the available internal sales resources and information.
- Develop your industry knowledge to better support your client base and team
- Ensure all leads and contacts are followed up in a timely and professional manner.
- Carry out effective research and preparation for your calls and meetings, utilising internal knowledge and resources.
- Ensure you keep the CRM (Salesforce) updated
- Meet your sales targets and KPIs
- Support and work in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Attend industry and company events
Your background and experience: Skills, experience and personal attributes:
- University educated or equivalent
- At least 3 years of B2B events Sponsorship Sales experience
- Ability to sell multi-channel/integrated campaigns
- Consultative and solutions led sales process
- Excellent customer service and client relationship management skills
- Experience using SPIN Selling or 'GROW' sales method
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, professional confidence and tenacity
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills - written and spoken
- Confident in leading stakeholder meetings, running presentations and objection handling
- Able to use IT confidently; Google Suite and Salesforce experience advantageous
