Job description

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting extra-curricular activities within the department, and may also have the opportunity to assist in lesson delivery, working closely with colleagues across the school.

This full-time, term time position would suit either those wishing to potentially undertake teacher training, those who are considering a career in education, coaching or other sports related pathways or someone looking to work within a PE department. The successful candidate will be able to coach at least one of the following – Hockey, Netball, Football, Swimming and Cricket.

PE at Bromley High School

The Physical Education curriculum in both the Junior and Senior School is broad, including netball, hockey, football, gymnastics, dance, swimming, tennis, athletics, and cricket. Facilities are excellent; the school is set on a 25-acre site and outdoor facilities consist of one full size astroturf, six netball/eight tennis floodlit courts, plus a 400m grass running track. Indoor facilities include an impressive 25 metre, six lane swimming pool, a traditional gymnasium and a large and well-equipped sports hall.
