This position is full time, open ended.
As the Sports Grounds Manager, you will lead and manage the Sports grounds section of Estates and Facilities Management (E & FM). Your primary responsibility will be to deliver and maintain world-class university sports ground facilities, in line with our strategic aims. Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, you will oversee a dedicated team, collaborating closely with Loughborough Sport and National Governing bodies.
In this role, your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Manage and maintain the highest standard of sports facilities across our campus.
- Develop innovative practices to enhance our Sports Grounds.
- Support Loughborough Sport and collaborate with National Governing Bodies to ensure the highest standard of sports facilities across our campus for elite and student athletes.
- Ensure effective management of the sports ground team.
The successful candidate is expected to have:
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining sports facilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Passion for delivering exceptional sports facilities.
- Knowledge of sustainable practices in sportsgrounds management is desirable.
